"Hey, Monday mornin'... is only for the brave"

Time for one of my ever infrequent website updates! Right now I'm working in the USA until Wednesday. I've got no excuse for the lack of updates other than my slight addiction to this site called Facebook..! You may have heard of it...!

Anyway - much has happened since my last update. I had a quite few weeks at home, a few nights out, watched some football, and generally just chilled. I had a great weekend in Liverpool with John and Kate. John and I went to the Krazy House on Saturday night (for old time's sake) and stood around feeling quite old. After a few beers we got dancing of course, and showed the youth of today a thing or two about how the Mosh pit works! Then last week we flew out here for a week's work. This time we had a night stayover in Boston and did the Boston Duck Tour in the morning before driving up to Providence. Basically that entails driving around the city and on the river in a converted DUKW from WW2. The tour lasted about 2 hours and was a lot of fun. I've got the pictures on Facebook. I will add them to my online gallery at some point soon.

I've started another fitness kick with an aim to training for the Vancouver Sun Run 2008. I'm going to book 2 weeks holiday and fly out there to run the race with Eddie just like last year. I am hoping that with some good training I might be able to take 10 mins off my time from last year but we'll see how that goes!

"It ain't easy... livin' free - Season ticket on a one way ride!"

I'm on the highway to hell - highway to hell! Well, not quite, I am in the BA lounge at Vancouver airport waiting for my flight home. Yet again there has been a huge gap in updates and I don't really have an excuse for that... Been kinda busy what with trips between Providence, Vancouver, and the UK... But I'm heading home for a few weeks which will be cool. This trip has been a relatively short 14 nights and the time has flown by. As always I've had a great time amongst the hard work and I'm definitely looking forward to relaxing a little once I get back to England - Hoping to take a few days off at the end of the week and go up to Liverpool having missed the game at the weekend and the chance to visit...

I've gone iTunes crazy of late, bought 4 albums in the last few days - The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, some Bryan Adams, Guns N Roses, Smokey Robinson, Madness, and some trance compilations. As we speak my iPod is melting down as I try and upload all the new songs to it in time for my flight....

So what does the future hold? Well I am due out to Providence on Sept 18th for a week or so, and have got regular trips booked out there thru Oct, November. I am of course hoping to be back out to YVR soon as well for scheduled work. In an ideal world this would happen much sooner than later!

Right now I'm listening to "The Fray" and I got to say I am loving their album. Fair play to my sister who I think for the first time ever recommended some music to me that I actually like!
